Mission Statement

Providing services that enable people to change and grow

  • Committed to professionalism and competence
  • Relate to others with integrity, sensitivity, caring, and genuineness
  • Respect the dignity of all persons

Ed and his wife have been married for more than 46 years. Their lives are enriched with four adult children and nine wonderful grandchildren.

Ed has a rich work experience history that includes employment in Alberta and Saskatchewan. He has worked in the private sector, with charitable organizations, in educational institutions, has owned and operated his own business, and been employed with the federal government.

His years of experience enable him to understand the issues faced by leaders and management as well as group members and employees in a broad range of community group and employment settings. He understands experientially and professionally the relational challenges in marriage, family, work, community and church settings.

Ed has been a volunteer, serving on municipal, charitable, church, and ad hoc community boards. Striving for a balance between volunteer work in community leadership and serving those less fortunate is important to him.

Ed believes that effective counselling begins with effective listening. He is an encourager who believes that frequently the answers to the issues presented by clients lie within them and works with clients to unlock the hidden strengths that persons have that enable them to effectively work through their issues.
